Microneedling at home? | New Skincare products

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog!

I hope you are all doing well, I feel like I haven’t posted in a while but I am back on track and I have many posts planned out! I intended to post something different on my blog last week but I had to postpone it for another week, so stay tuned for that.

This week is going to be all about skincare; I’m sure you know by now that I am obsessed with skincare products. However these two products are quite different and to be honest, by adding a few extra steps before this product, you can make your own Microneedling facial at home.

The first product is from SWISSCLINIC where you have the Skin Roller and Rejuvenating Serum. Both of these work together to stimulate collagen production. Collagen is simply a type of protein that we have in our body, which through time and exposure to factors such as smoking and UV light, would decline in production.
Skin Renewal also aims to minimize fine lines, wrinkles and scars, make skin firmer and smoother, improves elasticity and reduces enlarged pores. Now that is a handful of claims, however there are some which have made a claimed to be true after a week of using this duo.

The Skin Roller is something which intrigued me, yet scared me at the same time because you are rolling micro-needles on the surface of your skin. However, you can barely feel them; they do not hurt or sting in no way whatsoever. You simply roll your Skin Roller back and forth for a few minutes in different directions on the desired areas of your face. I purchased the 0.2mm length since the 0.5mm was aimed more for those who have severe acne scarring.
The next step is to apply the Rejuvenating Serum to the area you used the roller, to accelerate the skin’s natural healing process. This sinks into the skin super fast, which I like because it allows me to apply other serums and creams on my skin.
I genuinely have seen a difference with this duo, especially when it comes to scarring. I have sensitive skin and the redness that remains from the blemish will not fade after 2 weeks. With the roller, I even see a difference the next morning! I do this process daily for 5-7 days and allow the skin to rest for the same period of time before resuming the treatment.

The other skincare product was quite pricey and I still have not seen any effect to be honest. Quite a few YouTubers highly recommended it, some of which happen to have the same skin type as mine and which I highly trust, so I decided to buy it. This is the Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate. It simply states what it is supposed to do, in the name of the product. I have been using this specifically in my smile lines and on my forehead for the past 2 months, but I have not visibly seen any big difference. So for its price, I would not highly recommend it. Let me know if it worked out for you if you happened to purchase it! If you want to try out an amazing product from Kiehl’s, try the Midnight Recovery Concentrate!

That’s it for this week, I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you would like to stay tuned for more hit the follow button on any of my social media accounts.
Lots of Love,

Attaire XxX
