Jean Paul Makeup Masterclass + Giveaway Announcement
Hello makeup lovers, welcome back to my blog!
A few weeks ago I attended a Master class by Jean Zammit in
collaboration with Inglot. He has worked with local brands including Charles
and Ron and various other well-known luxury brands in United Arab Emirates,
including Dolce and Gabbana, Christian Dior and YSL.
The Master class was 2 hours long and in the first hour he created
a natural makeup look on a model and showed us a few of his favourite makeup
techniques and products. One product which makes his look stand out is the
Inglot Face and Body Illuminator. He mixed it in with the Inglot HD Perfect Coverup
foundation giving it a more natural, dewy finish. I love the finish of the HD
foundation, as it gives full coverage without looking cakey, but applying some
of the Face and Body Illuminator gives it a more sheer coverage which I also
loved.
Another thing which surprised me was that he does not make
use of any powder, primarily because it would remove the dewiness that the
illuminator gave. If you have oily skin, he recommended that you would simply
pat on a little bit of powder in the T zone and other areas where you tend to
get oily.
For the last hour we were able to recreate the look that
Jean created using the same products. It was an absolute pleasure to have him give
us tips as we are applying the makeup. I was also able to try out Inglot
products which I had never tried before. I love how the shadows blended out,
and if you are looking for a long wear eyeliner, the AMC Eyeliner Gel is the
one to purchase! This eyeshadow palette was given to us as a part of the Master
class package and I am very excited to create a look with it.
If you wish to go to a Masterclass, he will be doing another
3 classes on the 11th, 14th and 15th of
December. It was definitely worthwhile and I truly enjoyed it! He is also
uploading videos on his Youtube channel, which is Jean Paul Makeup, if you
would like to see some of his techniques.
Lastly do not forget about the Birthday Giveaway that is
happening on my Facebook page! This blog turned 2 on the 27th of
November and to thank you all I decided to giveaway some of my favourite Wet n
Wild Products. Good luck to all of you who enter!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s post and if you would like to
